What's Her Story: The victim of a terrible childhood, Blaze Fielding spent manyyears at Edgemont Psychiatric Hospital, Los Angeles, where sheunderwent top secret Syndicate experimentation without herknowledge or consent. These experiments were genetic in nature, withthe Syndicate attempting to create a “superhuman”, or homo superior.Blaze was kept sedated, abused, and treated like an animal. In 2015,the Syndicate intended for Blaze to undergo a memory wipe as thefinal stage of the experimentation, to bring her under their controlcompletely, but she was rescued from the hospital by Axel Stone.Blaze fell in love with Axel and they began a relationship.Two years later, during the events that led to the eventual deathof Mr. X and the end of Project Y, Blaze started to develop energymanipulation abilities (“fireball”), as a direct result of the Syndicateexperiments. These new abilities alienated Blaze from Axel, and shegrew depressed, giving way to a heroin addiction. In January 2018,Blaze’s relationship with Axel ended. She went to live in Chicago,Illinois, where she found work as a high-profile model.
